Proverbs 3:5-6; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

hyuk!hands appreciation post.

Love, pray about it. I can give you all the advice in the world, but what God says is the most important. If He wants you to be in this relationship, He will make a way. However, not everyone who is set in your path is meant to be, it could be the devil’s way of distracting you, even if he is Christian. The only way to really know is to ask God. You’ll KNOW if it was God-ordained. Relationships won’t heal your heart. No man or woman can do that, only JESUS can. So if you want to be in a relationship for that reason, then don’t. Because truth is, relationships are hard work. It’s all about being selfless and thinking of the other person. And to be real with you, you will get hurt at some point or another, people fail, it’s natural. You cannot depend on another person for your complete happiness or satisfaction because they WILL fail. Your happiness must be dependent on God. He will never fail you. Just trust God. He will bring to you the perfect person at the perfect time.

Don’t rush yourself. I think it’s great that you haven’t had a boyfriend yet. In the Book of Song of Solomon it says 3 times “Do not awaken love before it’s ready!” (2:7; 3:5; 8:4) When the time is right, you will find someone who is perfect for you, and everything will fall into place. Instead of worrying about all of that, use this precious time to focus on God, to get intimate with Him, to pray for your future husband, etc. :)

Respect him enough to wait for him. If he’s the one God planned, it WILL happen, so you don’t need to worry and you don’t need to force it. It is obviously not the right time. Remember “good things come to those who wait.
